Amateur radio is a fascinating hobby hobby with opportunities to many different and fascinating things. Our group is a collection of hams from the central Idaho area with varied interests but who like to share their knowledge and experience with others. Our group has no dues, only and interest in ham radio. We will have Officers and if so desired by the Club a Member-at-Large, which will be voted on at the December Meeting. We as a group like to operate radios to communicate in many different mode: FM, SSB, CW, Slow Scan TV, FT8, FT4, MSK 144 (meteor scatter), RTTY, and PSK. One of our members likes to operate through ham radio satellite repeaters. Several of us are active on 160 meters through 2 Meters, 70 Centimeters and one of us has 32 Centimeter capability. One of our members enjoys building antennas for many different ham bands including 2 Meters and 70 Centimeters.

We will schedule our meetings on the second Wednesday of the month at 6 pm. When one or more of the members wants to meet we decide how and when. We are also up for Zoom Meetings or getting together just to rag chew about an old event or a upcoming event that the Ham World is putting on.

If you are interested in our group please contact one of us or fill out the membership application.
