David Karaloff – N7EZQ

I was first licensed 1962 as KN7UVX.  My Son Pat is KA7VWA in Arizona.  I’m a Life Member of ARRL, QCWA (#21123), VOI ARC, CIARC and part of the Idaho Mountain Amateur Radio Society.

Maggie and I are Retired and live in the West Central Mountains near the small town of Cascade, Idaho. Our elevation is just under 5,000 feet.

I operate on all HF Bands plus 2 M, 70 CM, 33 CM and have HT’s capable of 1.25  CM though seldom used.

My favorite activity is using WSJT-x mostly on FT-8. I also monitor lots of VHF & UHF activity on Amateur and PS frequencies.

My Shack is home to a Wires-x node and room which Bob (W7BOB) and I have managed to setup with help from others!

It is accessible over-the-air or thru a reflector via the internet. We do not have a repeater that serves it.
