Wow, Look at what our Club Members accomplished during the year of 2023, plus this last week of operation, where the persons uploaded their QSO’s to ARRL LOTW. The points at the end are his accomplishments of making contact with ARRL Staff Members that are worth a lot of points, anywhere from 2 to 300, depending on the rank of the Staff Member. The # on the left is how he placed in the State of Idaho. Next is the overall Ranking in the World. The next # is his ranking in the USA. And then there is his Total # of QSO’s made. In Idaho there was a Total of 268 Members.

I want to Congratulate All those that has Participated by being a member of ARRL and keeping their Logs with Logbook of the World. Our Club produced 3 people that Has Achieved the Great Ranking of 4th, 5th and 6th Place. Just to show what a Club can Achieve.

Congratulations to Jeff-KG7CW, David – N7EZQ, and Unlicensed Maya.
They made 820 QSO’s with ALL the Multipliers of 85 for a Raw Score of 139,400 in 16 Hrs of Operation at Jeff’s Shack.
They ended up 1st Place Multi Operator High Power for Idaho, and 2nd Place for District 7.

We Did it AGAIN!

Number One for Idaho, over All Categories.

I want to THANK each and Everyone of you that Helped, setup, takedown, and Operate, and All other jobs preformed for this Event.

Idaho Mountain Amateur Radio Society will be at the Osprey Park west side of Lake Cascade approx 3 miles south of the Tamarac Round-About on the east side of the West Mt Rd. Link to site.

Participants were: Jeff Lappin, Zane Lathim, David Karaloff, Jay, Janet, Ken Thomson, Bob Renn, Bob Wagner.

Guests were: Carol Vasel, Eva Vasel, Piper Hochstrasser, Marissa Wilson, Adrianne Fraedrich, Wilona Ellwynn Eld, Joice Eld and Deana Wagner.

Operators were: Jeff-KG7CW, Zane-AI7RV – GOTA, David-N7EZQ, Jay-KC7MS, Janet-KF7NWL, Bob-W7BOB, Bob Renn-KF7JPJ assisted.

Guests that operated were: 3 youths, and 1 adult.

We completed 786 QSO’s on HF and Satellite, and GOTA competed 94 for a TOTAL of 880 QSO’s, with Bonuses our score was over 4850 points. We were 1st place for Idaho last year and I think we will be there again for this year.

2022 Roseberry Ice Cream Social

Hosting the event was: Robert Wagner, Jeff Lappin and David Karaloff. Bob made 45 Digital Contacts using his FT991a and an octopus dipole antenna on 15m & 20m using FT8 method. Jeff made another 10 contacts using his Satellite system. We had about a dozen visitors during the event, so we got the word out to the Public that there is another Ham Club in the area.

There were 320 Entries into the 3A Category, we were 82nd.

There were 43 Idaho Total Entries over All Categories and we were 1st for Idaho.

Our score was 3562 with 657 QSO’s 7 participants.
